2000 Millennium Coin and Currency 3-piece Set

2000 Millennium Coin and Currency 3-piece Set
Capture a moment in history with the special Millennium Coin and Currency Set put together by the U.S. Mint. To mark the new era, the U.S. Mint has packaged 3 examples of dollar currency from the year 2000. The star piece is a burnished uncirculated Sacagawea Dollar featuring the Shoshone teenager holding her infant son. The D-mint coin is especially meaningful because it's from the first year of issue. Shining next to it is a Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Eagle bearing Adolph A. Weinman's Walking Liberty design on the obverse. The 1 oz. silver dollar was struck at the West Point mint, but doesn't bear a "W" mark. The year 2000 was the first time that Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Dollars were minted at West Point other than a 1995-W proof coin series. A paper one-dollar note in crisp uncirculated condition is displayed in the tri-fold package below the coins. Since paper money is not dated the same way, the U.S. Treasury and U.S. Mint specially selected notes with the number 2000 in the serial number for the 2000 Millennium Coin and Currency 3-piece Set. Note: All coin items considered for return must be in their original condition as sold.
